  "message": "skip un-neccessary motion search in the first pass\n\nThis patch allows the encoder to skip the\nun-neccessary motion search in the first pass. It\ncalculates the error of the zero motion vector using\nthe last source frame as reference and skips the\nfurther motion search in the first pass if the error\nis small.\n\nThe encoding speedup of the first pass for slideshow\nvideos is over 30%. Borg test shows the overall PSNR\nperformance remain approximately the same (derf -0.009,\nhd 0.387, yt 0.021, stdhd 0.065). Individual clips may\nhave either PSNR gain or loss.
